Galvanic Facial

Service Description

A Galvanic Treatment uses a low level of continuous current that flows in one direction, known as direct current. Positive and negative ions act like a magnet on top of the skin’s surface, this will slowly push the active ingredients & products lying on the skin’s surface to penetrate deeper into the skin. There are two parts of a Galvanic Facial, Desincrustation which is carried out on a negative polarity, this forms the deep cleansing part of the treatment as Saponification - a cleansing agent is produced. This helps to soften and relax pores, remove dirt and excess oil from the skin. The second part of the treatment is carried out on a positive polarity, called Iontophoresis. This adds hydration back to the skin, calm skin, soothes nerve endings and restores the acid mantle. Some of the overall benefits of a Galvanic treatment include: Increased Oxygenated blood flow.
